I like it without the speech bubble, and maybe the polar bear would look better if he had an outline in the t-shirt color, instead of right up against the ice. But that might not be what you're going for.
Also polar bears are resourceful: they can live on land w/o ice. "Life finds a way" |

i think you could replace the word word with a heart and a peice of ice, all with the same concept in mind. (:
