I thought it would be interesting to design something kinda vintage and semi-retro using simple line illustration and of course it had to be shirtless.

it'd be rad if he was "pumping iron", like doing a curl with a hand/arm weight.

wow thanks for the comments, myspace avatar? you mean my picture? (confused).

I dont live in south beach, As far as alienating stright men goes... heck no! i actually thought it would be helpfull on all us men, why? cuz if your not gonna get the girl, maybe the guy on the shirt will do it for ya ;)

it's nice to see a topless man used for no good reason to start to balance out all the shirts with semi naked women on them for no good reason. but we still need to question if merely slipping the gaze on its side is a suitable reaction to the gaze in the first place and whether or not we need to find a truly different alternative

I can always put abs and pelvis area, perhaps that too may cause other form of ...gazing hey that sounds a like a totally different shirt.

yeah, not enough gay pride shirts lol
kristian.israel
kristian.israel on Sep 24 '07
This isent really meant for it to be gay, mainly cuz i hate labels, i think if a real guy feels good enough his personality he would wear it. And if gay ppl weant to wear it then we should, i dont think we need to be labeling designs (unless of course i put 2 men kissing) but this isen the case, *removes labeling stickers from forhead*

This is actually a really nice design. The soft, distressed line work against the graphic rays of color is nicely balanced and visually pleasing. However, your dude looks jacked straight out of a 1983 Barbie Doll coloring book. 4

yeah its cuz i used brown :) plus the distressed look make it even more. i intended to be that way though. so im glad you noticed it! thanX!

Whoop! So hot! If this is printed I'm getting 1 for my boyfriend for xmas, and he'll have to wear it (even though it makes him feel uncomfortable) because I bought it for him.
