It's really beautiful... but I don't like the big square. Even a big circle would be better.

fade the top of the square

morphostata on Sep 24 '07
I agree - nice pic, but needs fading on the top and sides. Try extending the lower edge to the bottom of the tee. Will totally buy if some changes are made so it looks a little less like a tee you got from a local printing joint b/c is is a beautiful pic

wow what an amazing piece this must have taken you hours! $5
Peters not economically viable
I like it much better on the black shirt and I agree with the above comments about not liking the square. It's too restrictive for this reflective picture and does make it look like it came from a local print shop. But I would definitly buy this after a few adjustments were made. I thinks it's fantastic how you did the colors.

Make it non-boxy, but it's beautiful.

I think it's probably too similar to X-ray that came out last week but interesting all the same............................

No, this is perfect just the way it is.

Reminds me of old record album art.....

Thanks for the comments... the reason the image is within a box is that I wanted the figures to look like they were in a painting/picture while also giving the impression they were outside it looking at it.... After posting it, I thought of adding a border or some other details around the edges to frame the image.....

I agree, move away from the square & I'm not a fan of the white, I think a light blue would be better.

This would only work if the t-shirt were the same colour as the main light colour in the water. Too much ink in a big shape makes the t-shirt permanently starchy. I like it though.

I love this design its so moody. Yes I agree, the background being the same light blue. How would the design look larger positioned at the bottom? Can you play with some different layouts. I would still buy it as is.

I'd do some sort of faded, free-form shape, and that would be very cool. As is- 3 faded and freeform- probably $4

Yes I get it.... no one likes the big square.... I have added an arch over the top of the design and turned it into a huge snow globe and I'm now waiting to see if threadless accepts the new design.....

it would be better if you could somehow make it fade out instead of just being a box

It's too box-y, a different shape maybe?

Gorgeous, but I don't think it belongs on a shirt.
SpydaByte
SpydaByte on Sep 28 '07
I agree with Wende, this belongs on deviantart, not a t-shirt. I'm looking forward to the new design. The concept and outcome are both pretty amazing.

for the black shirt, you should of inverted teh colors so the people would be white instead.

Yep as everyone I think you should lose the box shape-looks too rigid... design itself looks very relaxing-neat

i agree it's a very nice pic, but it loses something with the restrictions of a tee. very nice concept, i hope you find a way to get this printed nonetheless

This is my first comment on this site but I think itde look really neat if you were to move the picture to the bottom of the t-shirt; that way you could repeat the image or add more people and they can go all around. It'de be neat.

the pic is cool. .
but the box makes it too stiff. .
without box will be more outstanding. .
