my problem is because of the line thickness on the borders and such, the small monsters look like you drew them the same size as the girl and then rescaled them, which you probably did.
if the small monster's lines were a heavier weight, the design would seem to be more cohesive |

the colors are too strong for that bg, either up the color of the shirt or but a blanket on the color of the figures.

About my design
forgot what a pain in the ass for me it is to color in photoshop but hopefully it turned out as well as i think it did. girl would go more on the side so is more hidden behind the arm and the monsters would go in front.
