I love this! You might think about changing the Zappers to their original orange color, so people can recognize them. You could even make them red so as not to have an ugly orange/red clash with Mario's hat.

silverstar, that IS the original colour of the Zapper. They changed it to the godawful orange later so it wouldn't resemble a real gun.
As for the design - I wouldn't wear it, but points for creativity.

the slogan and the illustration seem very disconnected...a little bit too random perhaps?
