i love the style of the character and the tree so much, but i'm afraid the contrast btw them and the coin make the coin look...i don't know, thick. heavy.

live the idea but but make the coin have some sort of design to make it look like a coin. if i didnt know that it was for the iron and wine ocntest i would be a little confused

The coin is the only place that you have half tones. Try shading it with the same style you use on the tree and character.

I thought the kid was gonna be crushed with a gigantic bottle cap! Yeah, some detail on the coin DEF needs to happen for this to be a serious contender in the contest. nice symbolism on this one tho.
