My second go at it. I like this one better ... it's more detailed, realistic (what with the halftones) and better looking overall, I believe.

I'd like to see some texture on the pink and maroon colors because they look a little strange next to the skin which has lots of texture. Nice work 4

I hate to be "that person" but this makes no logical sense and therefore I cannot like it. Yes I know that makes me sound like a big jackarse but I don't care. There's no way to hollow out a watermelon and still keep it in tact. I don't even think there's a way to cut a hole in it and get the insides out since watermelon meat is so stiff. I know it's all in fun, but it bothers me. Okay I'm done.

Uhm ... lame. I've seen it done ... watermelons made into display pieces for weddings and the like. You cut it and hallow it out with an ice cream scoop.

But that's besides the point. Why would it matter?

Yes there is a way to hollow out a watermelon-in fact this is what I did last halloween because all the stores were out of pumpkins. The candle looks really cool reflecting the bright red interior at night.
