Drawn directly in Flash with a tablet. Zoom in to check the detail, there's lots to look at. The parts of the illustration overlaying the color swatches in lower right have suggested ink colors to go with the swatches: dark brown, black, light green - get close enough to see it.

I like the green on green, it looks like it would glow in the dark.

Very beautiful. Of all the colors, I like the sky blue the least, but I'd still wear any oft hem.

Thanx everyone for your comments! The title is a bit contrived indeed...'twas all I could think of at the time (with apologies to Arthur C. Clarke!) it was being submitted. However, the childhood being referred isn't necessarily that of the "boy with the coin. " The song is not just about the boy.
