Sorry, I cannot promote children climbing into a washing machine. It looks like a dead child.

love the way it's illustrated, but recently in the news a man put his two year old stepdaughter in the dryer, so maybe it's not very appropriate at this time. re-submit at a later date?

actually I love this, its beautiful somehow. but i know too many horrific stories to even think about letting this combo of images get promotion :( I'm sorry!

the case that haunts me involves this exact type - to prevent urns and spills the door wont open once started and all the people in the laundrymat tried so hard to open the machine...

Ok I liked this until I read others' comments, perhaps as suggested above, resubmittal later, perhaps with something more to suggest sleep (as opposed to death)

I loved the illustration, but agree that maybe it's not such a good idea... She is adorable so i'd love to see her in a different setting... xo c

agree with the last two comments, I love the artwork, but after reading the horror stories maybe she needs to be in a different setting.

controversy aside, i enjoy the illustrative qualities. the lines are very expressive... for some reason, the geometry in the design makes it seemed framed. it throws me off, but then again, it could be appealing to others. keep at it!

I'm fine with the washing machine theme, but I don't like how the child is wearing a scarf. Isadora Duncan died because of her scarf, and I'm uncomfortable with the message that scarves are okay.

Yes, the previous arguments sounded that stupid.

I really the oddness of this drawing, but I don't like the shirt colors.

Maybe she can have a content smile so she looks more alive and sleeping as opposed to being dead. Very cute and it is so odd for a t-shirt it actually works!

the design and image is great, and just remember this competition is for DESIGN not necessarily the concept or meaning.
Who care's if it looks like a dead kid!? Or a kid in an "unsafe" washing machine, grow up people, its just a fricken t-shirt!

I like the concept, but agree with everyone else...I suggest:
1. leaving the door to the washing machine open so it doesn't look like she is trapped in there
2. putting the girl in pj's so it's obvious she's sleeping
3. making the content smile on her face more obvious
4. maybe leaving some clothes in there so it looks like she is sleeping on top of a soft bed of clothes
5. it looks more like a dryer than a washing machine to me (because it's front loading), so maybe just make it into a dryer. That way if she's sleeping on a bed of clothes, it's a bed of DRY clothes.
6. Just a matter of personal preference, but I would like it on silver or light grey.
6. Otherwise, keep the look just the way it is now!! It's adorable.
If you changed it to make it look less "dangerous" I'd be the first to buy it. I love it!

Overall, I like it. Take the advice from above--open the door, bigger smile, maybe sleeping with a teddy bear...

My first impression was that I loved this design. Loved the drawing and saw it as a content little child snuggly asleep inside a dryer. After reading the comments i can see a point - but love the illistration so much that I still would get it.

I love the idea and gave this a 4, since washing machines are very relaxing too me. So after seeing a lot of other comments I have some suggestions. Give the person a happy look, and add a basket of clothes on top of the machine, plus a sock or something on the floor so it seems less boxy.

Either way I like your drawing a lot.

Jesus H. Christ people...it's a tee shirt, not a real kid in a real washing machine. Judging your comments, I'm sure a lot of you are in favor of government regulation of washer/dryer safety contributing to the increasing socialist, oppressive government that only gets larger, never smaller. First they ban smoking, then foi gras, then trans fats, then baggy pants, then....everything. And they'll tax you to death to pay for all of the jobs manned by lazy, over-paid, under-educated leaches.
