This is a design I concepted about a year ago, and my girlfriend has been asking to me finish ever since. So this is for her. I hope you guys like it!

i like that you created unique monsters instead of just taking the easy way out and putting in recognizable creatures. that, along with the great art style, really sets this design apart, imo.

I like the design a lot but maybe having the kids petrified or crying would help the concept a bit more.

Thanks man, the brown is actually a lot lighter, but because its surrounded by white, it makes the brown look almost black. If you save it out, and make it your bg or something, you will see what I mean.

i love your illustration! my only objection is that the kids look more like midgets than kids (i think they look a little squished), but that is so minor in comparison to the greatness of the rest. you still get my 5.

I love it, but I do wish the carousel actually had some color in it too, right now the kids and monsters just pop out and the carousel just looks like a flat background they are floating on.
Other than that, amazing!!

i don't know why everyone is saying this would look better on a lighter background. if it were on a lighter background the kids and creatures wouldn't pop out, and the scarousel wouldn't look very scary.

the background needs to be a couple of shades lighter so you can clearly see whats going on, but just a couple shades

Wonderful. The only bit of crit I have is that the girl on the right looks like she should be turned out a bit more. She seems to match the boy in the middle a bit too much.
