I like the design, just not how it looks on the shirt

i love the design but not ho wit looks on the shirt. if the shirt was one of the blues from the design it would look much better.

great design but its so free and moving that it really cant have such a contained and constricting border, if you got rid of the border i would deff buy it it got printed

awesome design but make it work with the shirt may be you could even work on a wraparound sorta because that would look really cool with more liyly pads a bit like a pond idk just suggestions here but i would totally buy if it didnt have a border and different color

My first impression was, "WOW! This is ART!" It's packed with flow, message, depth, coloration, and individuality. I find no "border" issues related to this design. Beautiful artwork that will be hard to match. On a t-shirt? Why not? I'd probably frame that t-shirt and hang it on a wall. Thanks, Alicia! Super work. Definitely a 5+++

Ellsswhere on Sep 05 '07 you seem to have some really great stuff, but your designs seem confined to the "halo" you create for them. If you find a way to fade out your design or create hidden lines these would do great. oh and youre cute

The design is cool, but it's too boxy for a t-shirt. If you made the shirt black, you could pretty easily just round out some of the edges, and I think it would look much better on the shirt.

put htis on a black shirt so it blends in with it instead of a square design. ;) just sayin cause i like it a lot

Thanks for the support, y'all! Yes, this design could go on a black shirt to eliminate the border, I definitely agree. I didn't initially intend for her to be Ophelia, but she easily could be. Or, she's simply a girl who likes to float among lily pads! :-)

It's a beautiful piece of work , but not on a white T-shirt. Think of the shirt as being your mat when you frame a piece of work. The color should draw your attention to the art. And I like the square border.

I agree with many previous posters... the background color of the tee should be the blue-green color of the water. The design is stunning, I'd buy it if it was on a background-colored tee!

FRICKINAWESOME on Sep 07 '07 It's an improvement, but you still need to blend the image into both colors. With the black design, have some of the teal slowly fade away like water lapping at the edge of a pond, and with the teal, the black waves can be faded out even more. It's almost there, it just needs some seamless blending so you can't tell it used to be imprisoned in a box not befitting your wonderful illustration.

I like it...but her neck looks kinda funny. The shading makes it look a bit like it's going in at one point, and it looks a little long. I don't know, I'm weird.
