Maybe give the bird or her skin some light color to differentiate them a bit. And possibly give some color to the earth. I think too much color could take away from the design but some light shades of color could break it up a bit and add to it. Unfortunately I think you could walk a fine line in adding color. Like it, 5.

When I saw this, the words that popped into my head were boobs and terror.
Some of the detailing is really nice, but the facial expression, weird boobs, and general unfinished-seeming nature of this cripples it. |

Rainn, the placement of the wings creates a disturbing optical illusion of wonky cartoon boobs. (It really pops out at you in the t-shirt image on the right)

In regards to the boob issue: I dunno, maybe I'm just bias because it's my design, but I'm not really seeing the problem. Her breasts are completely behind the brds wings, I thought the bird was high enough to prevent them from looking wonky.

I agree, I don't see any breast problems...
and I love this design just how it is... perhaps a tiny bit more definition in the eyes would be great, but then you may lose the look of her actually crying... I like the simplicity of one colour. $5 |

This is based off a pretty literal interpretation of the lyrics, but I really liked them as is.
This was done is pen, then scanned and colored. I think it would look good on just about any color of shirt, so long as the ink can be darker.
