tell me again why santa would be fishing

so...santa's fishing for gifts the whole year, meaning that there are no elves. I just don't think i can deal with that. And that's not all, a whale is flying sharks? what's more, it's on the MOON! This must be a parallel universe, and i like that. The more i think about it, the more it actually makes sense!

Or maybe, this has a whole different meaning, something deeper...The fish are in the sky, but Santa's fishing in the water, where the gifts are. Now if you switched the fish with the gifts so that it would make sense, there is a message. People think that things (gifts, here) should just come to them, like dropping from out of the sky. But obviously, you are seeing this ignorant mind-set, and are depicting it in art with Santa on the moon to show that this mentality is crazy. But maybe I'm the one whose gone a bit off the deep end?
