Thanks for the comments! My original sketch did have the globe much smaller but it seemed to balance out better with the larger size :)

this is a really neat design, i think it's one of the best i've seen yet for the g-mail contest! i think the idea and execution clearly relate to the theme, and i love the colors and flow of it.
