Patrick Seymour: Honestly, I had not seen your subs before I sketched this out. The concept and idea came from an educational poster project that was killed before the sketch phase was completed. There was an enormous quote to go with it: "...a huge cardboard box was an impenetrable fort capable of keeping out the strongest foes, or even my Mom." I wanted to reapply the idea to a shirt and when I showed the sketch to some of the other designers here, your subs were brought to my attention. I only continued because I thought our takes on the idea were different. |
