for those who don't get it
to check someone out = to gaze at someone's appearance in order to enjoy their sexual attractiveness the card in this design is the kind found in each book in a library which helps the library know when that book was checked out so they can determine if it was returned late or not so the design blends the "being checked out" concepts of both situations to communicate that the shirt wearer gets "checked out" on a regular basis - especially in November |

OK guys I got it. Problem is I don't think its funny as is. If I wore that shirt I would be adversizing that not one person checked me out during the months of Dec or Jan, not a good thing if you ask me.
Now I think you could make it funny by just adding a punchline on the back of the shirt. I will have to say I love the art, just needs a little bit more. I think this user is very talented and I look forward to more shirts!!! |

i'm from the school that says 'jokes' don't need to be spelled out to the n'th degree just so everyone can get them. if you don't get it, you don't get it. that's cool with me. that said... thanks for all of the comments everyone. i'm glad people enjoy it. |

I agree with some that this design needs a little more too it. Maybe a little more originality since his concept has already been done before (back in 2002) and was executed a lot better.
