"Once upon a time there lived a giant, furry, flying, many-legged alligator named Montgomery Gatorbanks. When he wasn't busy counting his money, he devoted his time in the community, and nothing gave him more pleasure than providing the poor disadvantaged urchins with flying lessons. Unfortunately, the street children and orphans had exactly one flying lesson, and never a second. The town never said a word to Mr. Gatorbanks and was glad to be rid of the unwanted children.
To this day, mothers and fathers warn their little children to not stray after dark: Mr. Gatorbanks, in his misguided good intentions, just might teach them to fly."
