I think its very well executed. I beleive most people would get the reference right away.

Oh too funny. I'd like to see them running through some hallways though. Add all of the Pacmany goodness! Also shouldn't all the ghosts be blue or just eyeballs? The drawing style itself is terrific. I'd just refine it a bit more, add some more elements to it and submit. It'd be great if the last guy was just eyeballs and he was crying huge tears.

Maybe to add some atmosphere you could add a couple different sized dots and cherries, but keep the colors more vibrant for the characters in the foreground. I dunno, just a thought.
