if you look through vintage stock illustration books, girls drawn like these are all over the place. i wish i could remember the illustrator's name...anyway, it looks too similar =/

Maybe some background embellishments? Pretty, just not quite there yet... amaliaslash, are you thinking of Gibson girls? They're on a lot of vintage Coca-Cola advertising.
