This would be great if Indie were colored it. Color would lend it some interest and also make the intent more clear I believe.

yeah, get rid of the blood - it doesn't make any sense, but the idea of "indie" rock is HILARIOUS!

The red is definitely too close to the color of blood. I'd say try messing around with oranges, whites and yellows to get a firery look. Blue in this case would also work to get the lightning/electric spark effect. Make sure to add highlights to the splatter paint so it's not just a flat blue. Good concept, just needs a bit o' work.

For color suggestions, Kuler and ColorBlender can be of great help. This is a great idea, it needs help on the placement and color scheme.

Shibby- Aw, thanks for the mix and title compliments....I had the same thought when i saw this! lol....I don't think either of us were the first to make the connection tho.

As for the design, I love the idea and the original drawing, but as many folks have said before me, get rid of the blood splatters, and maybe put it on the more light brownish colors of the DVDs behind Indy, and color the man in and center it. You've got an instant 5$ from me for that.

I think I'd like it more if it were centered, but it's a very cool idea.
