If she's not you may want to give her visible feet.

And if she is meant to be, then you may want to not have the line of the back of the top of the television.. If that makes sense... I probably shouldn't be commenting or voting after midnight.

No freaking kidding. I suppose giving the mother visible feet would more readily convey the concept that the television in modern days is basically another member of the family. Anyway I got the concept right away. I think this is excellent. I adore the colors.

^very true & a great design

For me, the period details stand out. its a lovely drawing., great composition, and mood. however the style of youngest boy is very different from his brothers. Her outfit is from a different time period then the rest of them. my eyes truck on over to her clavicles and cleavage - brightest thing on the design. the collars used to close at the neck with a pin. it looks anachronistic. I think you could get away with the little kid but I think you might want to change the mom.

What should stand out? So far the tv does not stand out. Should the tv be blank? should the tv be brighter? Should "home sweet home" be picked out in needlepoint on the screen?
