What am I looking at?

A skull shaped oil spill, I think, but it took way too long to see that. 3

A fuzzy octopus covered in potato chips?

I had absolutely no idea what this was for a good 15 seconds, which is way too long. To everyone else: it's a top-down view of some islands and a tanker leaking oil.

Swear to god, I thought it was a ghost with some mud on it and maybe a Pez dispenser.

I don't know why for sure, but visually it's appealing to me.

oh man... rulenumberten, it took me even longer.... i dont think it's recognisable this way, as a bird's eye view... needs to be from a different perspective.

I thought it was a space capsule exploding some garbage into asteroids. I know... vivid imagination.

Good idea... but needs some sort of detail so we know what's going on.

It took me a minute to figure out that this was an overhead view (those are kind of uncommon on shirts). I'd suggest adding a visual cue to help the viewer orient themselves a bit (maybe a bird high up or a whale down in the water?).

i'm a fan of this series lsmc...until this one. I think you coulda done plenty more with this. I like the concept, but i think it needs to be done from a perspective near the water, with the boat a bit out in the horizon on the left od right of the upper tee, and float diagonally towards the bottom of the opposite side of the shirt from where the boat is, making a skull and careening around the rocks.

i love the idea and would buy the shirt but it definitely needs tweaking so that the skull imagery is more obvious.

Even with people trying to explain this image... I can't help but visualize the same thing every time I look at it. NGAZIN basically sums up this whole shirt. But he forgot to mention that red item. Which, sticking with the theme here, looks like a painfully sharp suppository...

I think it would be more obvious if it was right side up. I saw it after tilting my head. Also, maybe make the oil black so it is more prominent than the rocks. I think the rocks are what people are getting confused on.
I really like the concept though.

i had to read the comments to get that it was an oil spill. perhaps the edge of a landmass would help solidify the "birds eye view" notion. My first thought was that there were things drifting underwater. I also think the ship is too small in proportion to the rocks. but that's just me.

good idea, though.

I got it. GREAT concept....but...IDK I think that islands/rocks are the wrong shape...because i thought they were supposed to be just like muck at first...which kinda works for the concept. Hmm...

a giant pooping ghost that breaks pencil-shaped buildings?

I thought it was a ghost with poop on it with Battleship.
