Fuck Banksy, it's not similar at all except for a ship coming out of a frame. His don't have a cool monster about to gobble some ass either. Actually I take the banksy fucking bit back, I like his work but this aint a copy. |

oooh, not bad but why oh why not a huge, swooping waterflow down to the bottom of the shirt? Like an upside-down question mark shape with the foam at the bottom-right, you know? It would really balance out the shirt and everyone around here seems to love a huge-ass print. That would also help set you apart from the banksy thing.

As I wrote earlier, I am the artist of the Ship from a Frame mentioned unthread. I did that painting 12 years ago and it now belongs to the permanent collection of the Society of Illustrators, though I retain the copyright.
This image is on the opening page of my website and is one of my most popular illustrations. I do think your piece is different, but strinkingly similar in the syle of ship and proportion of the frame to ship. I would rather not see a t-shirt at Target or Walmart with this image on it. I've been asked to inquire about the planned purpose. By the way, I like your work, Tim |
