I think I'm leaving the fine tuning on placement to the fine folks at threadless, just to answer that frequently brought up point. for now, think of it as approximate, ie, the eye goes on the chest. cool?

Sorry, I mean that they look sort of like images that were just color filtered, rather than original creations.

oh, well to a degree your right then, infact, i started with several different photos for every aspect of this one, including the eye, but they have been more intensely altered than simply color filtered. I wanted to go for look between photos and stencils, something kind of like poster art, and I had to make further alterations to make the 5 color max work, as well as adding things like text to to the lens. in the end, the photos are nothing more than reference. peace

OOOH pretty!! I would love it on another color though, white is sooo ... I dunno, plain and like a cheap printed tshirt you bought off the net *grin* Maybe a gray or something would look nicer.

This is phenomenal, but as said before, another shirt colour is needed to truly do the design justice. By gray, I assume you don't mean HEATHER GRAY... Dakota Slate might work.

I made the design on white, but I really don't have a problem with it on aanother color as long as it still meets the five color mark. if it does happen to get printed, I wouldn't shoot down other colors for the shirt. ^_^

I not a fan of white shirts either, but if its the only option for this shirt i think I'll consider buying it anyway... but I'm sure grey would work as well :)

Incredible design, and really, keep it on white. It makes the design so much bolder. Adding to this, there really aren't enough white tees on threadless. 5$

There's just something about the combination of white+black+red that looks great. I think the impact would not be the same on a different color shirt.

I like your design. I think you chose the the right version in the end. "1984" is a book I've read many times. If you have any thoughts on re-subing your design I would go alonge with them, I think your design could be even better than it is at the moment. That eye really does sums up "1984" and beyond

awesome. well i am hoping it gets printed. It would have been great if it had already been (if it does) by this weekend, because than I would have put the main character of my short film in it. I actually did dress him in another threadless shirt though FrequentCity definitely vote to get it reprinted.

Regardless, Threadless discourages re-subs, even if it is a redesign. This is why you submit them for critiques first.
