yeah, i noticed that as well. you're a talented illustrator, wicked, but it probably would have been better to find a different way to compose the shot. the faces and such are great, it's a shame you had to use his setup.

Anywho, I like the idea behind this, but the idea has been completely done to death since this has been announced. Even Pluto is trying to send us signs to "hey guys, move on already! I'll be fine out here on my own!" OH well...nice job on the concept tho. |

not my fav of yours. but still cute... i am not even going to comment about those who implying things about that other womans interpretation of pluto not being a planet anymore....
there are how many artists in this world? we are bound to have simliar ideas and concepts. it would be very difficult to research and find out who has done what.... as an artist you come up with an idea, you start working on it and you complete it... you dont go looking for others designs to steal... come on now.. |

like for example.. cupid and his arrow... this is a character that has been around for a while.... there are a million different interpretation and versions of artwork etc done after him...

Everyone: So the positioning of some of the planets are the same. Other than that this design is completely different. Their expressions are different, the style is different, the colouring is different. So, other than the circles being in the same place, these designs have nothing in common. Thanks to all who are defending me. This is NOT a rip-off. |

but why bother pulling someone else's composition? Your gallery is a testament to your talent, I find it odd that you'd mimic an existing work when there are a myriad of ways to arrange 8 spheres in a group...
or are you claiming that you didn't take any inspiration at all from pedersen's piece? |

Also, I think that it would be better if you'd made the planets more obviously what they were by giving them characteristics of the gods they're named after. Oh! And I thought the one that everyone is calling Earth was Mercury, because it just looks like it has a dry throat, and Mercury's probably the driest planet. |

I like the style though, would be good if the subject was a little more original. (see "planetary status" in catalog)
