hmm.. cool but a little plain.. could you make the 9 lives idea stronger by having perhaps a kind of scoring chart on a wall in the background or something? like 9 pictures of cats crossed out in red pen, maybe the last one being crossed by the ghost as it ascends

I love this design! Out of the 2 placement options, I'd say that the one with the design in the corner looks more effective than with the design on the chest. Very cute and clever.

About my design
Due to the overwhelming amount of people who wanted to see my ghost kitty from "They Did the Mash" on its own shirt, I decided to go ahead and do it. So here you all go!
