I appreciate the programs that allow us to communicate for the same reason I played with two cups and a string when I was young. The invisible medium carries my message away, but I trust that it will be delivered safely to my friend at the other end. Both Gmail and the cup phone allow us to maintain contact with the people we care about; both methods allow us to connect.

This is a great design. I like the positioning of the figures, and that line makes me wonder what's at the other end.
I also like the choice of colors for the children; very plain.
