About my design
by lsmc88
Do you guys like Physics? Well, this design makes use of the emission spectrum while still being related to the problem of greenhouse gas emission. This is #1 of my Global Warming Series that I plan to have 3 submissions of.

It's a cool design. I don't think many people will get it, though.

I think the measuring spectrum part of this design could be much more simplified so people could more easily understand it...possible with the words "Lowest Emissions" and "Highest Emissions" or something much more transparent and obvious to viewers of the tee. I do like art with a message if it's done well, and this most certainly is. It maybe could have gone lower on the tee and had a person walking on the furthest left demonstrating that using your two feet doesn't emit anything poisonous to the environment. A solid 3 for this one.

Yeah, but its supposed to use the actual emission spectrum (of hydrogen) and combine it with the emission of greenhouse gases. And people do emit, haha. Thanks for ur honesty tho

Diesel fuel burns much more "cleanly" then gasoline. At least as far as greenhouse gases go.
So trucks are usually on par with cars, while SUVs and vans take the lead in bad emissions.

it's pretty easy to get...

i think that the colored exhaust should get tall as it goes along

Here is the emission spectrum for H so that you guys can see what it is if you dont know

why use the emission spectrum of hydrogen? you're illustrating CO2, right? It's a pretty good image, but your meaning is completely opaque. I look forward to #2 and #3.

There isn't really a message to this one. It is a play on words. I just decided to include it in my global warming series because of the theme of global warming where there is some aspect of the sub related to environmental problems. Trust me tho, the next two have a message

What's odd to me is that this makes mac trucks not look so bad, since they have less than 2x points of whatever of a motorcycle. I assume there us an explanation for this, but I tend to not buy shirts that would need so much explanation.

Ditching the numbers would help solve the problem.

Geez, I knew it wouldn't sink in. The bar is not a measure of the emissions. Each vehicle is placed so because of the length so that it would fit the emission spectrum. I guess I underestimated how much people actually knew of physics or chemistry

I know nothing of physics but I get the general idea enough to not be picky

i like it

as a physicist and somebody who works in solar energy... i kind of need this shirt.... as a design.... it's just alright. i'm going to give you a $5 anyway for concept.

global warming?!?...you have got to be kidding me.

anyways, this design has some stucture, but not enough. it's too "plain" and not creative enough for me.

you definitely don't need to make the meaning anymore obvious. i really like it, even if there are scientific arguments against it because there aren't enough shirts that are pro-environment without being just a slogan. i think it was a very good idea and well executed.

perfect just the way it is. Better to leave it to people who understand than spell it out for the rest.
