Great idea + execution. I'd crumple the pull-tab on the updated design, and maybe the entire lid--I think that would fit in with the melancholy and desolation of feeling of the image. Would it work to have the lid curl in the same manner as the salmon jumping? Finally, what about completely decolorizing the fisherman, making him black/gray instead of tinted?

I like it but the lid bothers me...can't figure out what it looks like, but I didn't see a lid right off the bat...maybe a nose?

AWESOME but yeah there's something about the lid, even in the 2nd v. Maybe do what UsedMyName said about the pull tab & crinkle?
