nothing more to this other than i though waffles and maple syrup might make a nice chess board! Thanks in advance for any comments

more chess pieces and I thought maybe the tablecloth could be a different colour, it kind of all looks brown. Great idea!

it would be hard to play but there should be a rule that once you have captured the oponents guy you can eat him (assuming these pieces are also edible)!

thanks for the comments. i would've liked to put more pieces on the chess board but the 5 colour limit was a problem really. the light colour pieces faded into the waffle too much and having them the natural tshirt colour looked strange with no shading on them. i do like the idea of just subbing the waffle on its own though!
