I really like it, it would be nice if you could make it work better on a t-shirt. Maybe getting rid of the paper and leaving the rest. Otherwise thought out well and great, but I don't really like what the note says.

Why is there two treble cleffs and then a bass cleff? I do love the writing, but i agree with orangeradiokitty, what the note says is kind of stupid.

Wonderful design! I like the paper; as a classical musician myself, it simply makes more sense to have the paper because it gives the staff (and the point of the piece) some more congruent space.

And for all those wondering about the bass clef, this could be an attempt at a Choral Piece, which could have soprano and alto lines (trebles clefs), followed by the bass (or tenor if one same line).

Love it, if it doesnt get up, redo it without the paper.

That will make a better tee.

PBmeetsJ on Jul 28 '07
yea, i really like the idea. it's quite clever, but i don't like what it says, and i don't like the paper... plus you need you key signature at the very least.

Great execution; I love the design but, like some others here, don't really care for what the note itself says... I like the style and such -- keep working with this idea but maybe try to say something else.

The paper should be made to look quite a bit older. As it is, it's an obvious recent forgery. ;)

THANK YOU! I think it should be some actual music instead of the words, and the words written at the bottom? I like that a lot better. but very very amazing design. yay for you!

Was Mozart arrogant enough to tell people to thank him for his music? Also, if the three staves are connected, they are played together. And if those three things are played (read) together, then it wouldn't make sense. You read one line at a time.

Will bar lines break it up too much? Because no barlines (and no key signature) annoy me.
Perhaps just some of his actual work and then 'You're welcome'?
Or try to spell out 'Genius' or something within an actual piece.

def get the paper outta there. it would look a lot better.

Awesome concept! The only thing I would change is the paper's edges... It should look old, but it looks a little bit like you took one of those scissors that have the jagged edges and cut it out... But with that even I'll give it $5!

I agree with changing/doing away with the parchment... or making it a little different... maybe not centred or something, but in the bottom corner...

as for the question from Justin Manning -- depending on the type of score you're using, it's very common to have two treble clefs and a bass clef. Depends on what instruments/vocals you're writing for

...and I like the message... although it'd be fun to see it done with other messages, too

$5 :)
