I like this, but I think it's a bit too literal a take on the contest for me. I don't really get the Connect theme from this, just google references. I definitely dig the sense of motion, though.

Well.... in the design they come coneccions, circuits, entrance and exit points, transmissions. feelings.....all that is represented with the forms and colors of the composition at graphic level.

Actually it sort of does have the logo on it. The G is very similar to the G in Gmail. It does look like a brand tee to me.

I really like this! If the G and the envelopes came out, I would be $5 all over it in a heartbeat. The circuit-y look to the comet is lovely! I just think it's a little heavy-handed to have the direct Gmail reference. I would either be forever explaining it or forever apologising for it...

i'll try to be respectful as you ask, but i agree that the G is just too much of a corportae logo for me. If you were making a statment about the logo other than praising it, it may seem like less of an advertisment for g-mail...

I love the look of it, but I really didn't like seeing the G. It seems like too much of an ad on my chest.

I like the design for sure. However, you'd have to go 4-color process on this one, so it's not going to look exactly the same printed. (Thank god Threadless doesn't print digitally.)

This looks too much like a corporate type t-shirt, not one from Threadless. There's a reason the contest is on this site, I assume.
And I also agree with others that the G and envelopes really ruin it. You clearly put a lot of work into, so that's a shame. |
