fatheed on Jul 24 '07 All you favourite will make an appearance in volumes II and III. Besides - Groucho's specs are too similar to Lennon's to be included in this Volume. And Dame Edna is a character - these are actual personalities, as mentioned in the blurb at the top.

The one you found buried on flickr is the only one with a similar concept, but most people on Threadless will appreciate the subtleties of my design over the slogan name tagging of that design. The other one is just spec silhouettes so there wasn't really any point in posting that one. Unfortunately there are no original ideas - as Adam White said, above - he had this same concept 4 years ago, but I think this one remains different enough from the ones you found.

I like it a lot, I;d prefer a slightly more exciting shirt color in the background as long as it doesn't mess up the design.

Fatheed- I always think that that line "there is nothing new" is the biggest artistic cop-out in the world. There are obviously new things, and we see them from week to week, it's justnthat this is not the most unique idea. But no one has done it with so much paniche and captured the spirit of the people within their eyewear so well, so sometimes doing something a bit better is good enough for me. I wouldn't wear the other versions of this idea...i'd wear this one. 4$
