Legos! I like the idea of using legos for the theme, but I don't really know what those things are supposed to be. Also I think it'd be more interesting if they looked different.

maaannn, i had a similar idea of using legos!
but yeah, your lego beings look kinda like the cardinals mascot and big bird.

I submitted an idea involving Legos, but it was rejected because it contained copyrighted material. Glad yours made it through.

I didn't originally intend for them to be figures. The "head" was formed when I was just messing around to see what the blocks looked like when they were connected. The bodies of the figures were an experimental attempt at making an old-style telephone to add one more layer to the "connect" theme. When I saw the two elements together it looked like a figure to me so I went with that. I don't really think of them as people. Some kind of duck/humanoid? Thank you everyone for your comments.
