Simple isn't always bad. I like this one. Only thing that bothers me is the shirt placement. I think it should look the way it does in the preview.
|
|
yeah, the way it fits on the shirt REALLY needs to be fixed. people looking at the shirt will be thinking more about "why is it lopsided???" than the message you actually want to convey.

simple = simply sweet... nice art man, its calming in a way. makes you forget that these dot's are at war with one another sometimes...(especially when playing Risk)
|
|
cute, but god i wish it weren't on beige like EVERY other threadless shirt lately... black maybe, if it wins?
|
|
this design is very simple, but also very good. i agree with the other about making the design straight on the shirt though, and you dont need the text at all. great shirt though man!

Dude, some one is ripping your idea. You might want to contact Threadless about it. Check it out...

Maybe I'm weird (ok, I admit it, there's no 'maybe' about it), but I don't really mind the weird angled placement suggested on the shirt. I'd be fine with a more straightforward placement, too, tho'.

nobody stole anything from anyone. Both designs were submitted around the same time. So close that they were almost right next to each other in the pending subs tool

Hey man I'm just kidding.. I'm not SERIOUSLY calling you a thief, chillout! Two people can think of the same thing...

I would LOVE it without the text, and straight-center.
Much simpler without words Mind you, I think I'd like what AbstractAngel says $5 anyway! |

New Placement!
For those of you who mentioned the colors.. remember, this is tee for Gmail, it has to have something Gmailish somewhere... using the logo would be "mehh" so I used the colors... and like I said... K nevermind, read the description on top LOL it's all there :) Thanks! |
So.. The design is very simple, but I think it responds to theme ("Connect") in a couple of ways... We all know and have all done those connect the dots drawings, in this case.. we, people are the dots! How do we all connect and communicate? The Internet/Gmail :)
Also, using the blue+red+yellow+green gives that Gmailish look without using the Gmail logo, and highlights the many colors of the world... I was going to do it on white, but then I thought it would also look good on the "natural" color, supporting the "Keep It Green!" attitude! The placement might look a bit odd, but try to visualize the printed thing... it's more interesting than straight on the chest, and fills up the shirt better! :)
Thanks For Looking! :)
