On a remote hill, a forgotten family spends a quiet evening together.

I love the idea of this. It's comforting. However, I think the people could be drawn a bit better. The man in front is too big, even accounting for the foreground perspective.

It's very difficult to see. I understand ghosts are supposed to be hard to see but I had trouble telling it was a graveyard or what was going on at first. Otherwise it's a great concept.

This is soft and pleasing to the eye. Although I can see it quite clearly, there is subtle haze which adds an aura of mystery. Very cool. I also love your Monster in Disguise. :)

I LOVE this, maybe make the grass/sky a little but darker so that the people stand out more but it still has the hazey feeling.

Nice color contrast. Nice style. I like the way you illustrate.
Something feels not right about the patch of grass though. How about print on blue shirt and rework brown areas. |

Points well taken, funny how sometimes you don't notice these things when you are working on it. Thanks again,

Thanks for summarizing what I was going for in this illustration much better than I ever could. Brian |

absolutely nice and somewhat melancholic. I also could imagine just highlighting one item (e.g. hat) in another bright color

I really like the illustration style.. it reminds me of Grandma Moses or a few older children's books.. I wouldn't change a thing, this is lovely :)

i wish the transparency effect had been pushed a bit further... but i love the drawing and mood. beautiful. 5

Thanks all----I actually looked on another monitor and you really can't see anything, so no blame:) I'll just have to do better next time.
