It took me a while to see the face on the tree, and then the other faces suddenly appeared. I like that it's not so obvious and overpowering. I also love the linework on the tree's trunk.

i keep seeing these shirt that have large designs and feel the need to put a lot of color for the background.... AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY! i think that if you want a background color - put the design on a shirt of that color! i love the art, and i would buy it... but change the shirt color to the background color save a little ink (makes it cheaper) and also gets rid of the often awkward transition from the background color to the shirt. 4 but with changes $5

In one respect I agree. I could have changed the colors, and removed the background blue, but it wouldnt have saved money. I would need to color the clouds instead. I would also lose the loose coloring effect on the water.

Reminds me of some of the painting of Mount Fuji--good design.
