The style clash might be part of why this is kind of uncomfortable to look at for me. I suspect that if the baby were drawn more cartoonishly (like the figures in the background) I'd have an easier time looking at it. Also, the glasses seem way too small. I like the concept, though- it might be worth taking to Critiques and reworking.

I kinda see where you're going with this design...the assault on the senses that babies must go through on a daily basis, new sounds, new sensations, new tastes etc... But why is that creature reaching for the baby's nipple?

the baby looks like a grown man wearing a diaper, which really disturbs me
but i do LOVE the little guys, especially the one with the guitar
if you had him alone on some girls knee or something, it would be wonderful
