During a uneventful 4th period of my Junior year, I sat doodling this while watching a mob of ignorant kids fester in the back of the classroom - pretending to have A.D.D. (because its they're clever like that). Hearing their ever-so-squeeky voices made me imagine myself puke up rainbows 'n stars right into the center of them (to match their attire). From this idea it evolved into Paint, Fishes, Feathers, and my infamous squiggly-swirls. I guess it came out in a positive way?

Since I've payed alot of attention to threadless from quite some time, I thought I'd finally build up the courage to submit my own. Be bold and tell me what you think.

The kids head is a BIIIIIT much, what if it was exploding out the top of his head, instead of comming out his mouth...the fish and blood and feathers design itself is AWESOME!

It looks like he is maybe dying and someone else's finger is in his mouth. Maybe if you rotate 90 degrees or show an open-eyed contemptuous look.

oh ick... please, for the love of all things holy, do not include the puking thing. it would be a decent design apart from that.

I could have had it coming out of his head, but I really wanted something awkward and not so cliché. Who seriously pukes up feathers n fishes n paint? The whole blood confusion - maybe that was just an error of mine for not puting it a different color.. like.. blue. But I thought the colors were catchy.

It was supposed to be awkward, but fun.

I actually like how it's coming out of the guy's mouth. I think it would be cool though if he was bent over and it was coming down out of his mout and nose too. Now THAT'S a shirt I wanna wear to Grandma's.

I couldn't tell you how much I love this design, but i don't think I'd be brave enough to wear it in public...maybe if the hand wasn't there, that would make it a touch less revolting. But it's still a $5.

Lose the vomiting reference. You don't need any shock factor to sell this design - the fish, feathers and swirls work on their own.

I like this, especially the fish! However, I have to agree that it makes my stomach flinch a little because, well, it's puke.

Love the design, but as a lot of others have mentioned, not the vomiting. The person seems to confuse the idea, in the sense he seems to add an unnecessarily gruesome element to a design that's already powerful.

I think the head should be on the upper right corner, slightly tilted so the "throw up" goes down the front of the shirt.
As is, its a 4 :D

i recently heard that goldfish eating was a big cultural phenomenon in either the 20s or the 40s that is instantly what i thought of when i saw it and i like it more because of that then i would have otherwise

lose the throwing up angle. not because it's gross - just because it's lame. the rest is quite good.

keep the throwing up! just maybe rotate 90 degrees - otherwise it will all sploosh back down on him...

It pains me to think that those awesome fishies and swirls might not be printed due to the apparent general dislike of the puking kid.

I'll admit, I find the puking bit a touch unsettling, but the kid is really well drawn - I think the hand is the part that sort of undoes the whole thing for me.

The paint looks like blood. Your a great artist. The fishes eyes really caught me.

It's a great design. Forget the 'sensitive stomachs' and keep up the good work (and keep submitting).
I find the mildly upsetting and/or just oddly mesmerizing designs to be much more enjoyable. I would buy this one - as is.
