I missed this one, but I agree boo voters. I'd have given it a *4*
If I had to make a guess I'd say the fact that the eye is drawn to what in my opinion is the weakest part of the image, the skull, is what hurts the score the most. With lower placement and the removal of the blue ring and the skull I think one could bring out what should (IMO) be the focal points of the head and hands. Then again, what do I know? If I were an actual designer I'd probably take the summer off from here...rumors that the scoring gets worse in the summer seem to be true. |

Classic case of about 70% of the users on this site only caring about the same old emo heart, cassette tape, floral design shit, and completely bypassing anything new and original.

yeah - another excellent design bypassed by the majority of threadless users, who seem to love the same tawdry, melodramatic crap. If I see one more heart, I'm going to vomit ...lots of great work goes unappreciated here - whether it's gorgeous, minimal designs ("boring", say the cretins") abstract stuff ("I don't get it") or laugh-out-loud funny parodies like this one, which perfectly captures the aesthetic of 80's stoner-den black light posters (apparently, the threadless kids are unfamiliar with a concept as ubiquitous as irony). Last straw - I retire from scoring designs. If anyone knows of an open-source t-shirt site where the users have better taste, let me know.
