Dirty Little Red Riding Hood...a little played out and stereotypical for me. The design is well executed, I just don't care for the whole idea of it.

Nice illustration, but I agree that the sexualisation of fairytale characters is a little tired.
And as long as you're making them sexy, make 'em like that one with Granny and Little Red whipping the Wolf in their S&M dungeon. Yeah! |

hummm...i don't really get how this is slutty...i guess because she's wearing fishnets and her legs aren't covered?
i however think this is badass and would be proud to wear it. when i look at it i get this impression of an empowered girl who has taken control of the wolf, instead of the classic story which is about females being helpless and having to wait on the woodsman to save them. 5$! |

Gotta go with the "too slutty" crowd. I think it's made all the more disturbing because, to me at least, Red looks like she's about 12 years old. Thus, her pose and outfit become all the more disturbing to me. But hey, it's just what I'm seein' in the shirt...

it's not slutty, the wolf looks like a friendly tamed pet, rather than a sexual predator, and riding hood is dressed a bit sexual, but its not like she's wearing lingerie or looking inviting.. looks more like she'll cut you up if you step too close.
Anyways, I'd wear it ;) |

Don't like the wolf's face. Makes him look weak. The shapes on it look all over the place. Besides that the concept is cool and the girl looks good.

Bunnybraineater, I felt the same way - she doesn't seem at all too naughty to me, she seems older - at least 17, 18 - and so much stronger and wiser after her misadventures. She isn't "using her body" at all, she's dressing up and dressing down, for herself, rather than covering up with that massive cloak - she finally realizes her beauty and strength, and makes no apologies for it. She is also clearly in charge of the wolf, rather than the other way around, as it was in the past. No victim, here - Red's all grown up.
I love it - it's beautiful, and truly an empowering statement. $5. |

i think she does look a little provcative but it definatly no over the top... and it does look a little boondocks but it would look better (in my opinion) if the wolf looked meaner

How did I miss this design in scoring?
I think the wolf could do with a bit more texture in it's pelt and a little more expression. As it stands its face looks a little "flat" but the composition and placement are awesome. I think red looks strong without looking too provocative and I love the way you've used the shirt to colour parts of the design. Be awesome to see the reworking mentioned above when you get the time. |
