Bitchin'. If there was more color to the reactor/flowers (think yellow/brown/other toxic-looking colors), I'd buy it in a heartbeat. 4 1/2, but I'll be nice and give it a 5.

I like this shirt a lot. I think you could do more with the empty space though. Maybe make an all-over vine design, or just add some shading or backdrop.

Took me a while to see it was a cooling tower. Nice design but maybe a drum of nuclear waste would be better

Like it. Nice textures, simplicity etc. The chimney-tower-cooler (whatever they're called!) thingy could be a bit more chimney-like, I thought it was some kind of barrel/oiil drum thing at first. But even then it works.

Interesting perspective going on the cooling tower there. As a point of personal interest, do you mind telling what power station your source image is from?
My fella & I are constantly bickering symbolism vs. realism on this point, but...did you think of trying a blue as the shirt color? (I understand that both colors are layered with meanings, and you did mention that this has a particular meaning for you, so...you know, whatev.) Pretty cool. |
