To me, it looks more like the bird is wondering what the cookie is, rather than offering it. But I still think it's cute.

I love the lower placement, and I've always been partial to green/orange contrast. Green shirt is my fave. And, simple most of the time = better.

No ?- it seems as though Polly doesn't know what the cookie is. I think it looks nice on the light blue main background. Great first submission, the simplicity card is played well. 5$!

Well, to tell the truth I didn't really know what the concept was going to be when i drew it. I guess it can be taken either way: As he's offering the cookie, or as he doesnt know what it is. Before I added the ? it seemed pretty plain, but I guess it could work either way. :) Thank you for all of the kind comments, I'm so happy that my first submission is liked

you'd have to change the bird's positioning to more full-on with the person looking at the shirt, and maybe cock it's head so it looks like it's offering the cookie. to me, as is, it reads as though the bird doesn't know what it's holding.
but, i can also say it's a good thing that it reads in multiple ways. good job! :) p.s. i like the darker blue best! |

AngieB: Yeah, like i said before I wasn't really sure of the concept of the shirt until i finished it, so it can be taken however you want to take it :) I appreciate the comment, and I like the dark blue best as well ;)
