I feel like if you had shown this from a different angle it would have been more visually interesting. The way all the animals are shown either facing forward or in profile makes this less dynamic than I would have preferred. Good concept, though.

the Penguins moved to the North Pole because the South Pole melted. Awww.

2.5 (the .5 is a bonus for including penguins) - I'd like it to be a bit more dynamic as well, it looks a bit too posed as it is. Nice idea, though. :)

the polar bear is sad b/c he doesn't live in the south pole. He's a drift from there.

Except the real melting is happening at the North Pole, isn't it? Maybe it's both... But it's definitely in the Arctic where the Northwest Passage is opening up for the first time in squillions of years.

the penguin standing on the ice on the left looks like a guy with a receding hairline and a strange goatee standing in the water

Ah, the good old polar-bear-meets-penguin fallacy. Still, nice shirt.

and the south pole is actually a continent. made of land. so we must have really screwed up for this to happen.

this should be titled something more accurate like "good bye polar ice caps" - i know it doesnt have the ring.... but there are no p'guins at the north, and no p'bears at the south... and the seal would eat the penguin - then get eatenby the bear... who would swim until he drown... sad day for all 3 species... all in all, i dont like the idea or the execution - just dont think a serious subject like that should be executed as a cutesy t-shirt

Those of us who criticised by saying 'isn't it the north pole that's melting?' owe Chippos an apology. Nasa images show that the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is melting and breaking up, potentially allowing a piece the size of Western Europe to break off. James Hansen, director of Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, apparently recently wrote a paper suggesting melting at the poles and melting of glaciers elsewhere could cause a 5-metre rise in sea levels by 2100.

But Chippos is still wrong on the polar bears... but she probably knows it. It's called artistic licence.

have you ever wondered why the polar bears don't eat the penguins? It's because they live on opposite poles of the earth. The polarbears would have a long way to swim. and with melting glaciers, they'd drown. Way to go.
