Beautiful design and well executed, but I can't quite get past the woman being impaled thing. "Disturbing and lovely" indeed. Unless it's making some kind of point, I don't want disturbing on my clothes...but it looks like you'll find enough of an audience for it. *4*

I love all the elements of the design, but I'm not sure they all go together too well, and I'm a little turned off by her impaled appearance. I'd like to see one design using this character and a separate design with the tree and birds. My guess is the tree and birds would do better, simply because it might appeal more to both sexes.

i love this! i love the girl, i LOVE the tree. the birds are well done, the flowers add great texture. most of all i love that it makes me think both about how a book allows you to grow and how absorbing books are. $5 from me for the use of the word compendium.
