Wasnt there a TV show on Nickelodean with this kind of subject?

Yep, as others have said this was a pleasant reminder of Harold and the Purple Crayon. Really fun concept, though I wish it filled the shirt in a more interesting way.

you should scatter the crayon characters throughout the shirt and leave some crayons hanging around, but remove the kid.

And you know my name is Simon...

It's not the same cause he's not in the bathtub. Very cute. Would make a great kid's shirt.

I like the idea of scattering the crayon drawings, but I'd leave the boy - just re-do him a bit

I think the problem with the boy is that he almost looks too much like the crayon drawings. If you make it more clear that he's not one of the crayon drawings, it would be really awesome.

A really cool idea nonetheless. :)

Kookaberry,

Simon was a cartoon character whose drawings came to life. Mike Meyers did some weird Simon character many years later on SNL who did drawings in the bathtub. Two different things, though I think SNL spoofed the theme song from the Simon cartoon as well. The cartoon was a bit before your time and maybe somewhat obscure, anyway. ;)

I'd like this a lot more if the design had about double or even triple the characters drawn around the main boy character, surrounding him in a circular style. Or at least like you have now but extending much further than one row. I think this would really bring out the fantasy and children's imagination this shirt is hinting at now. Nice work tho.
