I know I'm always saying this to everyone, but you should consider Critique. If the intent here is really supposed to be something about cake, it's not coming across very clearly (like others, I am terrified by that face). A Critique might have helped you to clarify this.

It's a great drawing, but I would never want to wear it.

I'd clean this up a little bit to make it look more like a kid with cake on his face, not a zombie.

I think this is different and I like it.

It doesn't work without the text, because there is nothing that would give the viewer any idea as to what this is about other than the title/text. With the text, it doesn't work either because the text is terrible using a pretty bad font and no matter what you do, text is going to take away from this design.
It's a very good drawing, but it's a very bad tshirt design. I don't think there's anything you can do about that. Sorry.

I think this is frightening. Not sure why it would go with chocolate cake at all. It makes me think of what the descent into mental illness feels/looks like.

Thanks for all your comments so far - very mixed response! i'm surprised how so many of you have found my illustration so scary / zombie /freaky.. this wasnt my intention at all!
Oh well, this was my first attempt at a Tee design. I'll try to make it a little less scary next time...( I still think she's cute in a naughty kind of "I ate all mum's / Mom's Chocolate cake" kind of way!)
