Very funny combo of the master and his ....although i prefer Jeb's somewhat recent more surreal take on this surrealist of artists. Both capture the man quite well tho.

I really like how you drew it to look just like a scanned photo of Dali. That's talented! The clocks/drool don't look nearly as good.
It looks like it was traced off "Surrealistic Portrait of Dali", the face is in the same exact spot.....
Look it up |
absolutely! its a famous photo taken by Philippe Halsman, I figured it would be the most recognizable way to show Dali =)

this design is fantastic!!! i LOVE Dali, great concept, great execution, love the drool! $$$$$$$5 I'd buy!!!
this is a great design, i like the placement a lot, and the style of the spit is really nice. I'd buy it!

good ode to DALI... he rocks... i like his moustache better than his paintings though.........NOT! i might grow one and it can be my ode to dali
I much prefer Jebs' recent Dali Design. It incorporates many more elements of his paintings than just the somewhat overused Persistence clocks.
i like Jeb's design as an homage to Dali, but i LOVE LOVE this one because its hilarious, I'd buy!!!!!!!!
great placement too!!!!! |
I don't understand how traces of famous photos get through even though it has been a rejection reason...
Still a decent tee for sure although I agree with Alexandra regarding Jeb's design... |
$5- i'd buy one for my bf the day it is printed. even if there were no other ones i wanted, i would still pay the shipping fee for 1 t-shirt to Australia- thats how much i love it in dollar amounts!

I love the portrait, but something about the water drip clock thing bugs me... I feel like the numbers should be more distorted. Really cool overall.
yeah, i wasn't sure about the shirt color being light or dark, so i so i went with one of each... denim and ash =)
