Mark Strand said, "I have been eating poetry," but in the eternal struggle between sandwich and poem, who wins?

The execution could have been better -- "sandwich versus poem" does not make sense as the image is a "poem sandwich." It would be better to use the Strand quote.

In addition, I would have lines from popular/favorite poems in the sandwich rather than random words.

For color suggestions, Kuler and ColorBlender can be of great help.

Thanks guys! The comments help. They're not actually random words, but words from one of my poems (I'm not exactly famous but I'm kinda well known -- google me). I'm not sure how I would feel about using someone else's words -- that would feel like stealing. But that might be an improvement.

I was trying to convey that the sandwich won the poem vs. sandwich battle -- perhaps I should use another sort of image?

Any suggestions for colors? I am going to try that link.

the idea is good but the execution is a little off. and the white on black for this particular design is a bit bland. with a little tweaking it could be interesting.
