I like the slate because it has lower contrast and blends more.

Hey, I like target shirts. I like the design. I also like chicken chow mein. It's kind of hard to see the design on gray, but I like it anyway.

I actually have no idea what it says. It was just random characters that I found side-by-side. I'd be much appreciated if someone would inform me. lol.

Anyone else sick of the Asian characters being thrown around like this? To be fair though, the design itself is fucking kewl. Bitter sweet, or sweet and sour, if thats more appropriate. :D

Usually I don't like shirts like this. I don't like random amalgamations or splatters and I don't like random use of Asian letters / characters.

Still, the composition and colors in this are so nice that I like it anyway.

Yuck. This design hurts my inner soul. It's a mash up of elements that would not look good on their own, much together on a shirt. I am all for abstract designs, but even they have to make SENSE in some way. This does not. Its just a bunch of stuff. You don't even know what characters you've used? Damn. And one more thing...giant white splatters give off the impression you just got a money shot. Your more clean-lined designs (of late) work way better than this conglomeration of stuff. Work on that style.

I would buy this if not for the random use of language. You wouldn't just slap random english words on a shirt would you?
spaught

actually, i would.

this is all about city life.

it's about the chaotic urban setting.

I agree that it looks like a target shirt, and I hate when people just grab random asian characters and put them on things because they "look cool."

What does it matter if it means anything? How many people do you plan on meeting who can actually read it? none. Good work

i actually prefer it not to mean anything. i would truly despise myself if i was walking around with a shirt that said something like "COURAGE AND HONOR!!!" in some foreign language that nobody could read. that it means nothing makes it so much better. great design. 5$, i'd buy

-alexx on Jul 11 '07
It doesnt have to matter what it says, its structuall lovely so that in itself is enough. The design stands strong and its visually pleasing, the concept (thanks for the explanation) works really well, especially well with the random characters it adds a bit more depth.

all in all its great :)

Saladid on Jul 12 '07
I dont think I could buy the shirt, as much as I like it. I live in a city and I know someone would walk up to me and say "do you know what your shirt says" of corse i respond with "no" and then proceed to get a ton of crap, And also told what it says/
